The media ministry of Walnut Street strives for excellence as volunteers use their skills and efforts to enhance the worship experience for others. Approximately 25 volunteers give of their time and energy and are involved with sound, cameras, lighting, graphics, and other television and in-house production needs. The media ministry also is involved with helping to plan worship services and special events such as the annual Christmas Program, maintaining the church website, and producing original material for use in worship. Walnut Street Baptist Church’s 10:50 a.m. worship service has aired live on local television since 1967 and continues to air each Sunday on WAVE-3 at 11:00 a.m.
